- Cadre of trainers consisting of Master Trainers, Curriculum Specialists, and Senior Technology Training Specialists.
- The cadre will author a Professional Development Guide with a focus on the utilization of technology tools to be used in reading, math, and science.

- Based on creating a meaningful learning environment in which students utilize technology as a tool in their academic tasks.
- There are five interdependent attributes of a meaningful learning environment: active, constructive, reflective, authentic, and collaborative (Jonassen, Howland, Moore, & Marra, 2003).
- The Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) has various stages of utilization of technology based on the five attributes of meaningful learning.
- Each cell of the matrix will have a video that reflects the use of technology with a few computers in the classroom, and a video in which every student has access to a laptop computer.

- The Educational Technology Clearinghouse (ETC) is a directory to the best educational resources on the Web for Florida teachers.
- With an emphasis on technology integration, the ETC catalogues instructional resources by subject area and grade level
- This site also functions as a depository collecting media assets that will eventually be incorporated into the Florida Learning Exchange.
- Currently the ETC boasts a large collection of best practice videos and educational clipart.
