District Technology Resources Survey (Florida Innovates District Survey)

Who: District Technology Coordinators - Instructional Technology, Information Systems, Instructional Materials Supervisors, and District Library Media Specialists
Dates: Survey Completed: December 21, 2007
Focus: Instructional technology, information services, instructional materials, library media.
Rationale: The results of this survey are reported online to districts providing valuable data on implementation of both district and state technology plans and for federal reporting of EETT.

School Technology Resources Survey (Florida Innovates School Survey)

Who: Principals and School Technology Coordinators
Dates: Survey Completed: Fall 2007
Focus: Technology planning, technology use in classrooms, and equipment.
Rationale: The results of this survey are reported online to schools and districts providing valuable data to be used for school and district technology planning and for federal reporting required of EETT grant recipients.

Inventory of Teacher Technology Skills (ITTS)

Who: Teachers and College of Education students
Dates: Open now, dates determined by districts and universities
Focus: Assessment of basic technology skills and responsible, effective use of technology.
Rationale: This tool offers educators the ability to identify the technology skills that their Professional Development plan should focus on.

Student Tool for Technology Literacy (ST2L)

Who: 8th Grade Students
Dates: Field Test, April 2008, available statewide Fall 2008
Focus: Performance-based assessment of student's ability to use technology.
Rationale: This inventory helps teachers to evaluate students' technology literacy within subject area applications.
